In March 2011 I went through some major life adjustments. I wasn't really sure what it all meant but some situations you simply do not have control over. So... I decided to take my mothers advice and join her on a weekend "Spinning Camp" retreat. The camp was held at Lake Francis CA. Very close to the the Auburn area. The wonderful members of

We all had so much fun, learning how to spin on a drop spindle and use a spinning wheel. Everybody made my family feel so welcomed. I never imagined the impact this occasion would have on me. Simply put, it took the fork out of my road and I chose a path. It's truly amazing what can happen in your life when you step out of your comfort zone (mine was work) and explore other avenues.
